Clean the bay! If you adopt an oyster this Valentine's Day, you will receive three emails with updates and pictures from your baby oysters.

MATAWAN, NJ — NY/NJ Baykeeper has an unusual new Valentine for you: An oyster.
That's right, NY/NJ Baykeeper is offering the opportunity to give the gift of clean water this Valentine's Day through their Adopt-an-Oyster program. The Baykeeper is passionate about restoring oysters to the area around Sandy Hook and Raritan Bay, as oysters are super cleaners of sea water: They have the ability to filter up to 219,000 gallons of water every year.
NY/NJ Baykeeper is now headquartered at 30 Washington Street in downtown Matawan.
