Virtual Forum For Aberdeen Town Council Election Sept. 30

Matthew Braithwaite, a Republican, and Catherine Zavorskas, a Democrat, are running against each other for one seat on the town council.

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Monmouth County League of Women Voters will host a virtual candidates' forum for all the candidates running for Aberdeen town council at 7 p.m. Sept. 30.

The forum will be held virtually over Zoom and registration is required. Register in advance by visiting bit.ly/lwvaberdeen.

Questions may be submitted during the registration process or by email at lwvforum2026@gmail.com by putting "Aberdeen" in the subject line. Questions should be submitted by September 23 to be considered for the forum.

A trained League moderator from outside the voting area will preside over the forum and ask the questions.

Here is who is running for Aberdeen town council this year. Voters will be asked to choose one:

Matthew Braithwaite – Republican

Catherine Zavorskas – Democrat

The election will be Nov. 3.
