• Cui's overtime goal lifts St. Joseph (Met.) past Old Bridge (nj.com subscription) — A Greater Middlesex Conference Red Division boys' soccer match was played right in Matawan, where St. Joseph (Metuchen) edged Old Bridge 3-2 in overtime. Patric Cui netted the golden goal in the 86th minute, capping a second-half comeback after Old Bridge's early lead and giving local fans an exciting finish on their home field.
