MATAWAN, NJ — The re-opening of the Matawan Wendy's that was supposed to be Sept. 26 — but was postponed due to the nor'easter that weekend — will now be Nov. 14.
On that date, they'll give away free Wendy's for one year to the first 100 guests in line.
This is the Wendy's located at 388 Rt. 35 in Matawan. It was renovated in the past year. They reopened for business in August, but Nov. 14 is their official grand re-opening and giveaway. In order to qualify for the giveaway, you must be present in line at 10:30 a.m.
There is a limit of one 'first 100 card' per customer, and a purchase is necessary. Winners will receive one free sandwich, salad or breakfast item per week for one year. Eligible customers must be 16 or older and this offer cannot be combined with any other coupons, offers or discounts. You can only redeem the offer at the Matawan Wendy's on Rt. 35.
The Matawan Wendy's is owned by the Flynn Group, which owns and operates the Wendy's in Tinton Falls and Old Bridge.
"We're excited to be back open in Matawan following this renovation," said Sal Barakat, operations director at Flynn Group. "The refreshed restaurant offers a more comfortable, updated space for guests to enjoy their Wendy's favorites. Most importantly, we're glad to once again serve the Matawan community and be part of their everyday routines."
The Wendy's will be open 8 a.m. - 2 a.m. daily. They are currently hiring for 45 positions at their Matawan store.
