Annual School Supplies Collection at Temple Shalom

Women of Temple Shalom of Aberdeen will be holding its annual school supply collection for families in the area who are in need. This drive helps prepare children for a successful new school year.

From August 4th through August 31st a basket to receive donations will be placed in the Temple lobby at 5 Ayrmont Lane in Aberdeen. Donated items must be new school supplies in their original packaging or new backpacks. Backpacks must be plain with no designs, logos or advertisements.

The Temple’s summer hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday through Thursday and 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday.

For those that prefer, monetary donations for children’s supplies and backpacks may be sent to Temple Shalom, 5 Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, NJ 07747. Checks should be made payable to Sisterhood of Temple Shalom. Please indicate “School Supplies Drive” in the memo field
