Break-In Attempt in Cliffwood Beach Monday Night
A resident of Netherwood Drive told police she was awakened by a sliding glass door opening.

Aberdeen Township, NJ - A resident of Netherwood Drive in Cliffwood Beach told police she was awakened by a sliding glass door opening in her home late Monday night, Aberdeen police said.
She heard the door opening and saw an individual peering into her house. The actor was described as a young black man wearing black shorts, police said. She called Aberdeen Township police shortly after 2 a.m.
It has been the only incident of its type in the area, Aberdeen Police Chief John Powers said, and is classified by police as criminal trespassing.
