BREAKING: Car Flips Near Matawan; Parkway South Closed, Injuries, Entrapment

A car overturned on the Garden State Parkway Sunday, shutting down a southbound stretch of the roadway, authorities said.

Injuries, with possibly entrapped occupants, were also reported, authorities said.

The accident, which happened around 1:20 p.m., blocked all lanes on the parkway just north of the Monmouth Service Area in Wall, authorities said.
