Camp Arrowhead Hosts Set of Open Houses and Job Fairs

First open house is Sat., Jan. 10. Teens 16 and older who are interested in working at camp may take a tour and complete an application.

Camp Arrowhead in Marlboro is holding a series of open houses and job fairs, the first taking place Saturday, January 10. The summer camp season runs from June 22 through August 21. Teens 16 and older who are interested in working at camp are invited to take a tour and complete a job application.

“At Camp Arrowhead, kids will have an opportunity to make lasting friendships, explore nature, gain new skills and build confidence,” said camp Director Stacey Lastella. “Camp programs center around youth development, discovery, building relationships, achievement and developing a sense of belonging.”

Lastella said there are a variety of activities, from swimming and sports, to nature, cooking fun, boating, fishing, music, dance, reading and storytelling time. Located on 36 scenic acres in Marlboro, NJ, The Community YMCA Camp Arrowhead features age-appropriate programs with something for young adventurers to creative teens.

All Y camps are based on the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Full-day, half-day and half-week camp options are available for families. Financial assistance is available on a needs-based sliding scale, while funds are available.

Camp Arrowhead - Located at 521 Route 520 in Marlboro, Camp Arrowhead features 36 acres of shady wooded trails, rolling hills, fields and ponds, four pools, two playgrounds, climbing tower and zip line, shady pavilions and mini-golf course.

Open House & Job Fair dates for Camp Arrowhead are:

Sat. Jan 10, 9 a.m. - noon

Sat. Feb 14, 9 a.m. - noon

Sat. March 14, 9 a.m. - noon

Sat. April 25, Healthy Kids Day, 9 a.m. - noon
