ToSTY, the youth group of Temple Shalom, will be holding a car wash on April 10th beginning at 10:00 am. The cost is $5.00 with all proceeds donated to New Brunswick-based Elijah’s Promise. Elijah’s Promise operates a community soup kitchen, culinary arts school, catering business, pay-as-you-can café, and connects low-income individuals and families with social and health services. With the support of volunteers, donors and community partners, they serve more than 100,000 meals per year and train previously unskilled workers for careers in the food service industry.
Temple Shalom is located at Church Street and Ayrmont Lane in Aberdeen.
