ABERDEEN, NJ — On the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, employees from Goldman Sachs returned to do some serious volunteer clean-up in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen.
On Friday, May 27, 30 Goldman Sachs employees cleaned the beach and replaced a beachfront fence there. All of the Goldman Sachs volunteers live in the Monmouth County area.
The spent "hours" removing the old storm fencing and installed all brand-new fencing along the beach, said an Aberdeen Twp. spokesman. Every year for the past 26 years, these Goldman Sachs employees have volunteered their time to clean up the beach at Cliffwood Beach, but they did not do it the past two years because of coronavirus.
