Update: Owner of Roxy The Pit Bull Found, Police Say

Hazlet police say they have identified the owner of a dog found hiding under a truck in the Fleetwood Drive area Monday night.

The dog appears to be a female pit bull, police said in a Facebook post Tuesday morning.

She is not chipped, police said.

On Tuesday afternoon, police said the dog was named Roxy and her owner was headed to the police station to pick her up.

Anyone who recognizes the animal is asked to call police at 732-264-6565.
