Dear friends.
St Marks is looking for donations of your old and unwanted (but still working) cell phones, tablets, and lap tops. I have discovered a real need for them there and am hoping there are people out there who are willing to donate. The community center offers free WiFi to the guests and we plan to bring in people to help them write resumes and apply for jobs. Also the kids use tablets and lap tops at school but do not have them at home to do homework. This puts them at a real disadvantage to the other students. And today at church one of our guests came in all banged up and told me a story of falling on the trail in the night and laying there all night till someone came along in the day. If I had some working cell phones we could give those out because even with out a plan you can always call 911 from them.
So please do help us out if you have any of these items. And share this post with as many as you can. You can drop off at the Center any day 9 am till 1 pm at 247 Carr Ave Keansburg (big tan building next to the church) of if you need an evening drop off I live in Cliffwood Beach
