Aberdeen Township will hold a memorial ceremony the morning of Sept. 11 to mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 which claimed about 3,000 lives, including those of five Aberdeen residents.
The ceremony will include a Police Honor Guard Invocation, greetings, words from the fire department chaplin and a song by the Matawan Regional High School Choir.
There will also be a rose and wreath ceremony at the conclusion.
