The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has scheduled a senior citizens trip to Woodloch Resort in Hawley, Penn. on Wednesday, August 24.
Woodloch is a four-season resort located in the picturesque Pocono Mountains Lake Region of Northeast Pennsylvania.
The trip is open to Aberdeen seniors age 55 and older. Non-residents can sign up after the July 27 resident deadline, if space is available.
The cost of the trip, $42 for residents and $47 for non-resident seniors, includes transportation, a family-style dinner featuring prime rib/shrimp, entertainment, and use of the facilities including an indoor pool, nature trail, pontoon boat tours, bumper boats, kayaks, row boats, shuffleboard and miniature golf.

Busses will depart from the parking lot of Temple Shalom, located on Ayrmont Lane and Church Street, at 8:45 a.m. and from the A&P shopping center on Highway 35 in Cliffwood at 9 a.m. Busses will return home at approximately 6 p.m.
Checks should be made payable to “Aberdeen Recreation.” Township seniors who are members of the VFW Senior Citizen Club are asked to sign up at the club meeting. Non-members may sign up at the Recreation Department Office located at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building or through the mail. All trips are non-refundable.
