Spotlight Players: "The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad"

Spotlight Players of Matawan presents "The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad," April 14-22 at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan.

The family show is based on Kenneth Grahame’s "The Wind in the Willows." Join in the fun for a wild, silly, unpredictable romp featuring the memorable, colorful characters from the story coming to life on stage, singing and dancing about Mr. Toad and his mad obsession with motorcars. 

The show is produced by veteran Spotlight producers Michael Leonard of Hazlet and Meredith Henriques of Matawan.

Performances are 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and April 15 and 22 at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $18, $15 seniors/students. Complimentary refreshments are served at intermission.

Reservations can be made by calling 732-583-7874. All performances are at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, located at the intersection of Franklin Street and Route 34 in Matawan (3 blocks north of Main Street).
