On Oct. 23, Shalom Bazaar will once again be filling the social hall and spilling out into the courtyard. There will be a marketplace, food court, a 50/50 raffle and item raffles, and fun activities. This is a fund-raising event in which all of the Temple's auxiliaries and groups help out to create a fantastically enjoyable day for all.
Over 30 vendors will be selling handmade crafts, original art and unique items. There will be stalls with jewelry, chocolates, books, gold buying, and clothing accessories, to name a few. Middle Eastern and American cuisine will be the fare, not to mention desserts and treats. For kids of all ages there will be face painting, games, and a petting zoo.
Temple members will be given a preview from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before the Bazaar opens to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
