Family Day

There’s nothing like a day
of good old fashioned family fun… especially when it is for a good cause! Join your fellow Pinkontown
community members at an event that marks the town’s entrance as Pink Town for
Paint the Town Pink 2014.  Bring your family, friends and neighbors to a
day that is sure to make you smile.  The morning will kick off at 9 AM
with the special one day move of the Pinkontown Farmer’s Market to our
location. At 11 AM, family fun begins as the food trucks roll up with savory
and sweet treats, the WRAT 95.9 gets us kicked off with some great music and
the SPCA bring pets donned in pink attire that are available for adoption. You
can park your chair or blanket and enjoy the outdoors, visit our pink face
painters, explore the Pinkontown Fire Truck and participate in our Pink Cake
Walk at 11:30 for a chance to win a delicious cake.  A number of high
school students will be on site to run Pink Sports clinics for our littlest
Pinkontown community members. At noon, the Pink Sack Races begin…with
competition and prizes for all ages.  And, then we will gather at the
basketball courts for the Pinktontown’s Got Talent competition.  Our
celebrity judges will pick the pinkest talent, the most creative talent, the
best vocal talent, the best dance talent, and the Fuchsia Grand Talent.   We will end the day with the Pink Your
Ride (Bike) contest at 2:15 by awarding the three Pinkest Bikes with prizes
