Fatal Old Bridge Car Crash Sunday Kills Man, Badly Injures 2nd
One man was killed and another seriously injured in a head-on Texas Road car crash that happened at 2:18 a.m. Sunday, said police.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — One man was killed and another seriously injured in a head-on Old Bridge car crash that happened at 2:18 a.m. Sunday, said police there.
A silver Nissan Versa traveling west on Texas Road failed to negotiate a sharp bend in the road, and veered head-on into the eastbound lane of travel, said police.
The Nissan then struck a silver Hyundai Elantra headed east head on.

The Nissan rolled over, erupting in flames with the driver trapped inside. The driver of the Nissan, a man, 39, from Monroe Twp., was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 21-year-old man from Manalapan, received serious injuries and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.
