Police made the following arrests from Feb. 1 - Feb. 28 in Aberdeen Township:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Released by the Aberdeen Police Department, police made the following arrests from Feb. 1 - Feb. 28 in Aberdeen Township:

On Feb. 3, a 32-year-old female resident of Sayreville was charged with shoplifting following an incident at the Stop & Shop food store on State Highway 34. Det. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 5, a 33-year-old female resident of Aberdeen was charged with simple assault following an incident on Central Avenue. Ptl. Mohamed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 6, a 77-year-old male resident of Aberdeen was charged with harassment following an incident on Stevenson Avenue. Ptl. Michael Monteiro was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 11, a 44-year-old male resident of Aberdeen was charged with possession of CDS (cocaine) and driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Road. Ptl. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 14, a 37-year-old male resident of Aberdeen was charged with harassment following an incident on Belaire Court. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 17, a 34-year-old male resident of Middletown was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Christopher Vetter was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 21, a 49-year-old male resident of Old Bridge was charged with attempted murder and leaving the scene of a MVA with serious bodily injury following an incident on North Concourse. Det. On Feb. 22, a 37-year-old female resident of Absecon was charged with burglary and theft following an incident on Schindler Drive. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 24, a 33-year-old male resident of East Elmhurst, New York was charged with eluding from law enforcement with a motor vehicle following an incident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 26, a 19-year-old male resident of Berlin was charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and criminal restraint following an incident on North Concourse. Ptl. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer.

It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

In the month of February, Aberdeen police officers responded to or initiated 1,302 calls for service, including 37 motor vehicle accidents; 67 alarms (house/fire); 6 assaults; 10 burglary reports; 6 criminal mischief; 2 crisis interventions; 13 disorderly persons; 11 domestic disputes; 7 fire calls, 88 first aid calls; 8 frauds; 10 harassments; 2 M.V thefts; 1 narcotics; 8 thefts; 2 trespassing; 27 suspicious person/vehicle and 24 welfare checks.

Officers issued 243 summonses and conducted 419 motor vehicle stops.
