Temple Shalom is presenting the film “As Seen Through Their Eyes” on May 14th at 7:30 pm as part of its Holocaust film series. The film features interviews with survivors who have given us a journal of the Holocaust as seen through the eyes of the artist. The program is free and open to the community.
The film, narrated by Maya Angelou, is a window into the surviving art and artists of the Holocaust. It offers an incredible look at the survival mechanism of humankind, regardless of race or religion, and the profound need to communicate at any cost.
