Former Anchor Glass Employee, Matawan Resident Dies at 73

Kathleen M. Shea was known as the family caregiver.

Kathleen M. Shea, 73, of Matawan, passed away, Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at her sister’s home in Sayreville.  Born in Newark, she resided in Matawan for over the past 30 years.  She worked at Midland Glass/Anchor Glass for 30 years, prior to working as an office manager with Clark Psychology, Clark, NJ.  She was the family caregiver; she loved to drive and would chauffer family members.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Jeanne (Ryan) Shea; and two nieces, Jennifer Burke in 1999; and Maureen Bender in 2010.  She is survived by her loving siblings, Jean Witte of Hollywood, FL; Maureen Malik of Sayreville; Donna Kendall and husband Stanley of Keyport; Kevin Shea and wife Norma of Selinsgrove, PA; and James Shea of Keyport; and 15 adored nieces and nephews. Kathleen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
