In this hands-on program you’ll create three products to give as gifts or take home for yourself. We’ll decorate the containers and make gift cards for a completely festive package. You’ll make a lip balm, a body scrub, and a tension relieving roller ball, all using common kitchen ingredients and essential oils. This program will be offered on Saturday, December 3 at 11 am and will be repeated on Sunday, December 11 at 1 pm. Please select one date to fit your schedule. Participants must be Matawan Aberdeen library card holders and at least eighteen years old to participate. (Registration required)

Friday, December 16 @ 7 pmAfter Hours Music: Holiday Concert

Join us for our annual holiday concert featuring The Dulcimer Dynamos! The Dulcimer Dynamos is an ensemble of Matawan Aberdeen Middle School students spanning grades 6 through 8. The students play dulcimers and auxiliary percussion instruments in the ensemble, which meets once a week after school. They will perform mostly holiday music, including Christmas and Hanukkah tunes, for the performance. (Registration required)

Thursday, December 22 @ 11 am Yoga Basics

This class is great for the beginner or experienced student as we give variations for all levels. Focusing on movement integrating breath, awareness, and alignment you will build strength, focus, flexibility, and balance for both mind and body. The class will be taught by Tula Yoga instructor, Jennifer Cavalieri. Please bring your own Yoga mat or large towel. Must be at least 16 years-old to participate. (Registration required)
