Stop by the library between 1 – 3 pm to create a Valentine’s Day card or two for a friend or loved one. All supplies will be provided, just bring your creativity! Show us your finished card and we’ll send you home with a small Valentine’s Day treat (one per person, while supplies last).

With Lynda.com, you can learn technology, creative and business skills through over 5000 video courses taught by industry experts. LearningExpress Library features nearly 1,000 online tutorials, practice tests, and eBooks to help patrons of all ages.

If you’ve always wanted to keep a journal and don't know where to start, or if you keep a journal and need a jump-start, this workshop is for you. You’ll learn some new creative ways of self-discovery, problem-solving, decision making, stress-reduction and more. You don’t have to write every day and you don’t even have to enjoy writing to keep a meaningful journal. Bring a notebook or a journal if you have one. This workshop will be led by Michele Klausner, Certified Journal Facilitator.

This class is great for the beginner or experienced student as we give variations for all levels. Focusing on movement integrating breath, awareness, and alignment you will build strength, focus, flexibility, and balance for both mind and body. The class will be taught by Tula Yoga instructor, Jennifer Cavalieri. Please bring your own Yoga mat or large towel. Must be at least 18 years-old to participate.

Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr were parallel prodigies, colleagues, and friends, yet they became bitter and deadly enemies, culminating in their tragic duel on the heights of Weehawken on July 11, 1804. Their lives crossed in 1778 at the Battle of Monmouth when both were serving as lieutenant colonels in the American Army. Dr. David Martin, the president of the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield and an award winning author, teacher and lecturer, will offer new analyses of the roles played by Hamilton and Burr at Monmouth and the effect of the battle on their future careers.

Showcasing some of the most unforgettable and famous music from both American and International movies spanning the 1930s through the 1990s. Spend some time at the movies with acclaimed international concert violinist, Dr. David Podles, and hear him evoke the emotional and vibrant melodies that touched so many of us. Some of the movies to be included: Romeo and Juliet, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Thomas Crowne Affair, and Titanic.
