Thursday, September 6 @ 11 am – Learn Tai Chi
Come and participate in this meditative form of exercise which is associated with both spiritual and health benefits. This monthly class will be taught by Al Chuderski. No prior experience is needed, just wear comfortable clothing.
Participants must be at least 18 years-old and preference will be given to Matawan Aberdeen card holders.

Sunday, September 9 @ 1 pm – Meet Author Jeff Ryan
Jeff Ryan, the author of a new book about the early years of Disney - A Mouse Divided: How Ub Iwerks Became Forgotten and How Walt Disney Became Uncle Walt - will be here for an all-ages presentation featuring behind-the-scenes pictures, fascinating trivia about Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, and, of course, loads of animation. Mr. Ryan will have books available for purchase and signature after the presentation.

Monday, September 10 @ 7 pm – Learning Python
Have you ever wanted to learn about how people create computer programs? Compute programs are created by people using different programming languages to write lines of code. This class will provide an introduction to the python programming language and some of the tools that you can use to create your very own programs.
This class is for anyone 13 years or older.
Thursday, September 13 @ 1:30 pm – Chair Yoga
Interested in learning yoga, but have difficulty getting down on the floor? Now you too can enjoy all the benefits of yoga without having to get on a mat. You will learn many yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation while seated in a chair. The class will be taught by Danielle Meany, RYT. All levels welcome. No experience or equipment is necessary.
Participants must be at least 18 years-old and preference will be given to Matawan Aberdeen card holders.
Sunday, September 16 @ 1 pm – Real Advice on Fake News
Fake News can do real harm! Come to our Fake News information session and learn more about what it is, where it comes from, and how it spreads. We’ll also discuss various strategies for fighting Fake News in your online community.
Monday, September 17 @ 7 pm – The Hidden Lives of Voice Assistants
Whether you’re using a smartphone, a smart television, a desktop computer, or even a speaker system, you can find a Voice Assistant in more and more digital products these days. The question, then, is how to properly interact with these Assistants and what they can do for you. This discussion-style class will look at many of the Voice Assistants on the market today and cover how they work, what they can do, and how you can get the most out of them!
Monday, September 24 @ 7 pm – Yoga Basics
This class is great for the beginner or experienced student as we give variations for all levels. Focusing on movement integrating breath, awareness, and alignment you will build strength, focus, flexibility, and balance for both mind and body. The class will be taught by yoga instructor, Carrie Palamara. Please bring your own yoga mat or large towel.
Must be at least 18 years-old to participate.
Thursday, September 27 @ 7 pm – Make Your Own Bracelet
We will be stringing beads to make a bracelet. Choose from a multitude of beads and a variety of clasps to make it uniquely your own. Class size is limited and preference is given to those who have not yet taken this class.
