Kol Halayla is Hebrew for the voice of the night, but at Rutgers, they are the Voice of the “Knight,” as in the Scarlet Knights. Founded in 1995, Kol Halayla was Rutgers University’s first co-ed a cappella group and is the only Jewish a cappella group on campus. They’ll be performing a diverse repertoire with a mix of traditional Jewish, Israeli, and secular music.
