Tuesday, June 7 @ 11 AM – MS Publisher 2013 for Beginners

We'll teach you the nuts and bolts of Microsoft Publisher 2013 in this hands-on, beginners class. This Microsoft program allows you to create a variety of publications including flyers, newsletters, business cards, greeting cards, etc. You’ll learn:

Sunday, June 12 @ 2 PM – Color Your Cares Away

We are bringing the trend of adult coloring books to the community with a drop-in coloring class. We’ll supply the coloring sheets, colored pencils, and markers. We’ll also provide beverages and relaxing music. We know kids love to color; however, this class is for ages 18 and up only. The goal of the class is to relax and boost creativity!


Monday, June 13 @ 7 PM – It’s Not a Tree or a Chart … it’s a Story

Learn how to breathe life and dimension into your family tree to tell a story of the real daily lives and experiences of your ancestors – the places they lived, the neighborhoods and churches so integral to their lives, their jobs, economic conditions, social environments, military service and more. Context is everything in truly knowing the people who came before you and made your life possible!


Wednesday, June 15 @ 11 AM – MS Word 2013 for Beginners

This hands-on, beginners class will cover the basics of Microsoft Word 2013. If you’re looking to do anything from writing a book, to typing a quick letter, to creating your resume, Word is probably your program of choice. This introductory class is a great way to start and will go over everything you need to get writing!

Thursday, June 16 @ 7 PM – Estate Planning

Join Joseph Abbondante, from the Society For Financial Awareness, for this free seminar where he will discuss the purpose of estate planning, how to avoid probate, and specific estate planning strategies.


Friday, June 17 @ 7 PM – After Hours Music: Darla Rich

“It’s All Jazz: From Bop to Pop” will include vocal and instrumental jazz, as well as, jazz infused renditions of hymns, folk songs and pop tunes from more recent decades. This format will highlight the important aspects of jazz through spontaneous improvisation and interaction among the musicians.


Saturday, June 18 @ 1:30 PM – Intermediate MS Publisher 2013

This hands-on, intermediate class will explore more features offered by MS Publisher 2013. For those who already understand the basics, the class will cover how to format text boxes, manipulate various objects and learn how create a Mail Merge.

Thursday, June 23 @ 7 PM – Intermediate MS Word 2013

This hands-on, intermediate class will delve deeper into the more powerful features of Microsoft Word 2013. For users who already understand the basics of Word, the class will cover such topics as creating footnotes and endnotes, creating and configuring tables, inserting special characters, and much more!

Thursday, June 23 @ 11 AM – Yoga Basics

This class is great for the beginner or experienced student as we give variations for all levels. Focusing on movement integrating breath, awareness, and alignment you will build strength, focus, flexibility, and balance for both mind and body. The class will be taught by Tula Yoga instructor, Jennifer Cavalieri. Please bring your own Yoga mat or large towel. Must be at least 14 years-old to participate.

Sunday, June 26 @ 1 PM – Kuchipudi Dance

Local dancer, Varsha Garla, trained in the Indian classical kuchipudi dance, will demonstrate this art form. She explains the origins and meanings of individual gestures and rhythmic movements that have been performed for thousands of years.
