FREE Events The Week of November 16 at the Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library

The Art of the Silhouette, Sunday, November 16 at 1pm
The silhouette became very popular in the 18th century and the art still has many admirers. Local artist, Linda Roehmer, will introduce you to its history and the many types of silhouettes. Mrs. Roehmer will offer a live demonstration of the creation process, discussing her techniques as she works. Afterwards participants will be able to practice creating their own silhouettes.
