Over the course of their service, Megan and Rex completed more than 100 missions until an IED explosion injures them, putting their fate in jeopardy.

Release Year: 2017
Rating: PG-13 (for war violence, language, suggestive material, and thematic elements)

Seventeen-year-old Stella is like other teens, except she spends most of her time in a hospital treating her cystic fibrosis. Life follows a routine, till she meets a charming fellow patient. There's an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction.

As Game of Thrones has wound down, we look back to Peter Dinklage’s break-out role in this quirky tale. When his only friend dies, Finbar McBride moves to an abandoned train station in rural New Jersey, to live the life of a hermit. His attempt at solitude is soon interrupted, however, by interactions with his neighbors, including Olivia, a struggling artist coping with the recent death of her young son, and Joe, a thirty-year-old with a talent for cooking and an insatiable hunger for conversation--whether anyone wants to talk to him or not. The depot of this film is in Newfoundland, N.J and is popular with train-spotters.
Starring: Peter Dinklage, John Cannavale, Patricia Clarkson
Release Year: 2003
Rating: R (for language and some drug content)
Running Time: 90 Minutes

Monday, July 22 – The Last Movie Star
Another of our Kanopy films. Burt Reynolds stars as an aging screen icon who gets lured into accepting an award at a rinky-dink film festival in Nashville, launching him on both a hilarious fish-out-of-water adventure and an unexpectedly poignant journey into his past. On its surface, the film is a tale about faded fame. At its core, it's a universal story about growing old.
Starring: Burt Reynolds, Ariel Winter, Clark Duke
Release Year: 2017
Rating: R (for some sexuality/partial nudity)
Running Time: 94 Minutes
Monday, July 29 – Shazam
Billy Batson is an abandoned child who is proving a nuisance to the authorities with his search for his lost mother. However, in his latest foster home, Billy makes a new friend, Freddy, and finds himself selected by the Wizard Shazam to be his new champion. Now endowed with the ability to instantly become an adult superhero by speaking the wizard's name, Billy gleefully explores his new powers with Freddy.
However, Billy learns that he has a deadly enemy, Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Pursued by this mad scientist who wants his powers, Billy must face up to the responsibilities of his calling while learning the power of a special magic with his true family that Sivana can never understand.
