For our St. Patrick’s Day offering this year, we bring you Jimmy’s Hall. In 1921 Jimmy Gralton's sin was to build a dance hall on a rural crossroads in an Ireland on the brink of Civil War. The Pearse-Connolly Hall was a place where young people could come to learn, to argue, to dream...but above all to dance and have fun. As the hall grew in popularity its socialist and free-spirited reputation brought it to the attention of the church and politicians who forced Jimmy to flee and the hall to close.

Starring: Barry Ward, Simon Kirby, Andrew Scott
Release Year: 2014
Rating: PG-13 (for drug use throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, language and some violence)

Monday, March 27 at 2pm - Hacksaw Ridge

This is the extraordinary true story of Desmond Doss who, in Okinawa during the bloodiest battle of WWII, saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun. He was the only American soldier in WWII to fight on the front lines without a weapon, as he believed that while the war was justified, killing was nevertheless wrong. As an army medic, he single-handedly evacuated the wounded from behind enemy lines, braved fire while tending to soldiers and was wounded by a grenade and hit by snipers. Doss was the first conscientious objector to ever earn the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Starring: Andrew Garfield, Richard Pyros
Release Year: 2016
Rating: R (for intense prolonged realistically graphic sequences of war violence including grisly bloody images)
Running Time: 139 Minutes
