Having Trouble Sleeping ? Yoga can help

Yoga offers many tools to help calm the mind and relax the body. We can relieve the physical tension in our bodies through the postures (asanas) which relaxes all of our muscles. Through various breathing, relaxation, and meditation techniques Yoga also calms the mind.  As we bring our attention inward- focusing on the breath or a mantra will help calm and clear our mind from the thoughts and quiet the nervous system which helps relieve stress.  

A restorative or gentle yoga practice combined with breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques can be practiced at night to relax the body, calm the mind and prepare you for a better night's rest.
