Here's How Aberdeen Fared In Sunday's Storm

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Twp. was "very, very lucky" and did not have any major incidents to report in Sunday's snowstorm.

This is according to Mayor Greg Cannon at midday Monday.

"We are very lucky. Most of the roads are down to blacktop now. It snowed for long enough Sunday that our DPW crews were able to remove the snow and everyone stayed inside, which really helped," he said. "The only thing we can report is a couple fender benders in the ShopRite parking lot did occur Sunday, but they were minor."

A decision has not been made yet on MARSD schools for Tuesday. Aberdeen Town Hall was closed Monday, but will reopen at 8:30 a.m Tuesday, and can be used as a warming center for residents.
