If It's Too Cold For You To Be Outside, It's Too Cold For Your Pet

Two recent incidents in New Jersey highlight the importance of not leaving your pet out in the cold (see links for the stories).

Remember: even though your dog or cat has fur, it is no guarantee that they will be warm enough if left outside during cold weather. Bring them in the house with you. If you are unable to do so, state law mandates that they be provided with “proper food, drink, shelter or protection from the weather” [NJSA 4:22-26].
