It's Dog’s Night Out In Keyport June 29

KEYPORT, NJ — Enjoy the dogs days of summer in Keyport at Dog’s Night Out! Bring the whole family – including the furry, four-legged members – to enjoy outdoor shopping, live entertainment and a farmers' market from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 in Keyport.

And if you’re still looking for your furry companion there will be showcases by several local rescues with adoptable dogs. Hosted by the Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative, the annual summer event commemorates the furrier, four-legged members of the family. Families are encouraged to bring their canine companions to socialize on a closed West Front Street in Keyport and enjoy an evening full of fun.

Dog lovers will love the festive vendors and canine-friendly outdoor shopping along West Front Street, as well as a farmers' market featuring local produce. A live musical performance by HP & The Hot Takeout Band will take place at 7 p.m. in the minipark overlooking the beautiful Raritan Bay. Then, snuggle up with your pup at dusk for a special viewing of “A Dog’s Purpose.”

Those looking to add a four-legged family member to their homes will love the Adopt-A-Thon, where they can support local rescue shelters and meet adoptable dogs. Come visit and play with dogs looking for their “fur-ever” homes and find the perfect new addition to your family.

As with any dog-friendly event, the KBBC asks that attendees please be considerate of their own pets and other furry friends. Only bring your dog if they are up to date on all shots and are comfortable making new friends. Make sure you curb your dog at all times.
