Jackson Man Killed In Rt. 9 Old Bridge Crash

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A 49-year-old man from Jackson Twp. was killed before dawn Monday in a car accident on Rt. 9 through Old Bridge Township, according to reports.

The man was identified as Steven Frizziola, 49, of Jackson, said Capt. Joe Mandola of Old Bridge police. Notification to the family has been made.

The fatal crash happened at 3:30 a.m. Monday, May 20: The man was driving a Nissan Sentra when he rear ended a tractor-trailer on Rt. 9 northbound at Old Mill Road.

Frizziola was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
