Jersey Shore Huskies 12u '03 Wins NJIFP Championship
Jersey Shore Huskies teams make a mark!!

June 5, 2016 - The Jersey Shore Huskies ’03 prevailed at the NJIFP Championship held in Carteret, NJ. The Huskies bats came alive the first game and the hits kept coming. The Huskies ended up with 66 hits with 63 runs scored for the entire tournament. The Huskies was let by Emma S. with a .733 tournament average and was a force in the catcher position. The 10 run average per game also gave the Huskies pitchers with room to work the strike zone as they shut down the opponent only allowing 19 runs. The staff was led by Angelina C. with 4 wins and an ERA of 1.00.
As a result both Emma S. won the Most Valuable Player tournament player and Angelina C. won the Most Valuable Pitcher. Congratulations Emma and Angelina, and great job all around.
Other news – Jersey Shore Huskies 12u ’04 came in second place at the Panther Pride Tournament held in Bridgewater, NJ. Jersey Shore Huskies 14u ’01 played up in the 16u/18u Memorial Day Tournament held in Holmdel, NJ. The 14u Huskies ended up earning 2nd place overall.

Next Games June 18-19, 2016 – Both 12u Huskies team will be hosting the annual “Battle of Monmouth” to held in Oak Shades Field in Aberdeen, NJ. The 14u Huskies will be at Edison, NJ for the PONY National Qualifier “Shoot-Out” tournament. The 16u Huskies will be playing down in Berkley in the Summer Blaze Tournament.
