This was the same place a few weeks ago that the 14u Husky team were mentioned on the softball forum of NJ.com for great sportsmanship. One of the Philly Storm player was hit by a ball on the side of the head thrown from the cutoff. The player turned her head for a second watching the Husky player running to 3rd base. The player drop with a big thud as soon as she was hit. Both Husky coaches rushed to her side as they saw the play immediately and followed by her coaches. All the coaches knelt by her side to assure that she was ok and eventually was assisted in getting up. The Husky coaches received an email later on that she did not suffer any concussion. The Husky players cheered on the Philly Storm players during the game and showed them encouragement. Now that's sportsmanship!!!
