Keansburg Man Charged With Murdering His Woodbridge Girlfriend

The 39-year-old woman's body was discovered by Woodbridge Police inside her home Wednesday. Police say she had serious head trauma.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ —A 39-year-old Woodbridge woman was killed Wednesday by her ex-boyfriend, who is from Keansburg, the Middlesex County Prosecutor charges.

The body of April Duncza was discovered by Woodbridge Police inside her home shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Police were initially called to her home on Paul Street in the Fords section of Woodbridge for a welfare check.

Upon arrival, they found the woman with serious head trauma. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police say the accused, Kevin Bacon, 46, of Keansburg, knew the woman and had a previous relationship with her.

Bacon was arrested without incident Thursday and was charged with one count of first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center.
