Kids Go Inside Hot Air Balloon At Matawan YMCA

About fifty pre-school children, ages 3 through 5, at the Matawan YMCA played inside a 75-foot-tall hot air balloon Friday afternoon.

MATAWAN, NJ — This was a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon! About fifty pre-school children, ages 3 through 5, at the Matawan YMCA played inside a 75-foot-tall hot air balloon Friday afternoon.

The balloon was provided by the QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning and PNC Bank.

The “walk-through” event took place at the YMCA on Broad Street in Matawan. A giant hot air balloon was inflated with cold air, laid on its side, and secured to the ground, allowing the children to explore and play inside.
