The Matawan Recreation Department officially opened rentals of canoes, kayaks and paddle boats at the lakefront park on Saturday, June 29. Rentals will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Labor Day.It costs $15 an hour for the rental.Free parking is available at the lot at the intersection of Ravine Drive and Matawan Avenue.
