Localized Flooding Possible Wednesday In Matawan and Aberdeen

Heavy rain may lead to localized flooding Wednesday in Monmouth County, according to the National Weather Service.

The flooding is primarily expected in areas with poor drainage, the weather service said.

In the Matawan and Aberdeen area, thunderstorms are expected for most of the day, according to weather.com.

The rain is expected to end by about 9 p.m. Wednesday, that website said.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday skies will be sunny, with high temperatures in the 80s.

But the chance of showers and thunderstorms returns Saturday night and will continue through Tuesday, the weather service said.
