Man Charged With 4 Aberdeen Burglaries, Car Theft And Arson
The same Little Egg Harbor man breaking into homes and cars in Hazlet is behind recent Aberdeen crimes, too, police say.

ABERDEEN, NJ — On Monday, we reported how a Little Egg Harbor man ran through multiple backyards and even drove into an above-ground swimming pool trying to get away from Hazlet police in a wild chase Friday, Oct. 27.
Now today, Aberdeen police say they've charged the same man with multiple crimes in their town as well, including car break-ins and even an arson. Kingsbury is a suspect in a string of recent home break-ins and stolen cars in Aberdeen, Middletown, Atlantic Highlands and Hazlet, police say, particularly the area around Holmdel Road.
Aberdeen Township police charged Christopher D. Kingsbury, 27, of Little Egg Harbor, with the burglaries of several homes in the township between September 8 and October 17. The specific incidents are as follows:

- September 8: Lorraine Drive- burglary, motor vehicle theft, theft of property;
- October 13: Smith Court- burglary, motor vehicle theft, theft of property;
- October 13: Smith Court- Criminal attempt (burglary), criminal mischief;
- October 17: Smith Court- arson, burglary, theft of property, criminal mischief.
In addition to the motor vehicles, cash, jewelry, and tools were taken in the burglaries.
Detectives Louis Nanna and Manny Carabel conducted the investigation in conjunction with detectives from Middletown, Hazlet, and Atlantic Highlands police departments.
