Man Charged With Theft Of Pipes In Monmouth County

A Marlboro resident has been charged with stealing pipes from a Hazlet plumbing shop, according to the complaint signed against him.

Darrell H. Lee, 43, of Wicker Place, in the Morganville section of Marlboro, was charged with theft.

On Aug. 26, he stole a condenser coil, along with copper and brass pipes, worth a total of about $500, from the back of People’s Plumbing, the complaint said.

The business was closed at the time of the theft, that complaint said. His bail was set at $2,500.
