Man Found Dead In Old Bridge Twp. Burned-Out Shed
Breaking: A man was found dead Sunday night inside a burned-out shed in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge Twp.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A man was found dead Sunday night inside a burned-out shed on a residential property in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge Township, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's office announced Monday afternoon.
The fire was first reported to the Madison Park Volunteer Fire Company at about 8:09 p.m. and when firefighters got there, they arrived to find a shed fully engulfed in flames. The dead man's body was then found inside after the flames were put out.
The prosecutor's office did not release any further information and his cause of death needs to be determined by a medical examiner. The prosecutor would not release what street this occurred on, only saying it was in the Madison Park section. MyCentralJersey is reporting it happened on Amherst Court.

Not only was the shed destroyed by the fire, but the flames also spread to the back of the house. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Among those called to the scene were the Madison Park Fire Department, the Old Bridge Fire Prevention Bureau, the Old Bridge Police Department, the Middlesex County Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. No firefighters or police officers were injured.
