Man Killed Crossing Rt. 35 In Old Bridge Saturday Night
The man was hit at 8:05 p.m. by a Toyota Sienna minivan while he was attempting to cross Rt. 35 northbound in the area of Laurence Parkway.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A man was hit by a car and killed crossing Rt. 35 in Old Bridge Saturday evening, said Acting Old Bridge Police Chief Joe Mandola.
The man was hit at 8:05 p.m. by a Toyota Sienna minivan while he was attempting to cross Rt. 35 northbound in the area of Laurence Parkway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was identified as Abhay Narsule, 46, and he lived in Flemington. His family, who live in India, has been notified.
The driver of the minivan remained at the scene and called 911 after striking the man, said police. That driver is not facing any charges at this time, said Police Chief Mandola.
