Man Shows Up Drunk to Aberdeen Court, Found With Drugs, Police Say

The local man was dancing in the courtroom and talking on his cell phone, police said.

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, NJ - A man showed up drunk to Aberdeen municipal court Wednesday and attracted attention when he started acting noticeably intoxicated, including dancing in the courtroom, according to Aberdeen police chief John Powers. The man was searched and he was found to have prescription painkiller Suboxone on him, which he did not have a prescription for.

On Wednesday, Jordan M. Suell, 22, South Atlantic Avenue, was in the Township municipal building for a municipal court appearance when he exhibited signs of intoxication, police said. He was talking on his cell phone, disrupting the court and dancing around while court was in session, said Chief Powers.

Suell was arrested for disorderly conduct and was subsequently found to be in possession of the prescription drug Suboxone. He was issued a summons and released pending a court appearance.
