Matawan Convenience Store Sells $100K Lottery Ticket

MATAWAN, NJ — A Matawan mini-mart sold a lottery ticket that won $100,000 in the drawing Monday night, May 9, the NJ state Lottery announced.

That ticket was sold at Quick Stop Food Store, 313 Broad St., Matawan in Monmouth County.

It matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $100,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, May 9 drawing. The winning numbers were: 02, 04, 06, 37 and 43 and the XTRA number was 4.

The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling that winning ticket.
