Matawan Man Broke Into Cars In Aberdeen, Police Say
Aberdeen police charged Alexander Spear, 21, with the burglary of four vehicles parked on Atlantic Ave., Fifth St. and Bechstein Drive.

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township police have charged Alexander E. Spear, 21, of Johnson Ave., Matawan, with the burglary of four vehicles parked on Atlantic Ave., Fifth Street and Bechstein Drive.
This past Monday, April 30, residents reported that sometime during the night someone entered their unlocked vehicles and took wallets, cash, and credit cards, police said.
Subsequent investigation by Det. Louis Nanna revealed Spear had used one of the credit cards at a local convenience store, cops said. He was arrested Thursday, May 3, and charged with four counts each of burglary and theft.
