Matawan National Night Out Is Aug. 1
Come to Terhune Park from 6-10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 for live music, face painting, kids' events, food trucks and to meet your local police!
MATAWAN, NJ — The Matawan police department is participating in National Night Out this year and the event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 1.
Come to Terhune Park from 6-10 p.m. next Tuesday. There will be live music by The Clifton Brothers and tons of fun activities for kids, including face-painting, balloon animals, free cotton candy and Ralph's Italian ice and temporary tattoos. Plus, hang out and meet your local Matawan police, fire, EMS and CERT (SWAT) teams.
Food trucks will be on site, including Bro-Rito's food truck, the Empanada Guy and Big John's Gourmet Burgers.

National Night Out is an annual event that is designed to heighten crime- and drug-prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs and strengthen police-community partnerships.
