Matawan Organic CSA Accepting New Members
NOT For-Profit CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture." It's a farm in which members purchase a "crop share" during the winter and early spring before the season begins. Then, throughout the growing season, share members come weekly to pick up their "already-paid-for" shares of just-harvested fresh organic vegetables at a predetermined location. Shareholders financially support the farmer in advance to grow fresh organic vegetables for them in the upcoming growing season. It is basically a farm share. A local CSA offers a certain number of "shares" to CSA members.
Deliveries begin on Friday, June 14 and run through Friday, November 22 (24 weeks)
Where: Pick up Fridays from 2 PM - 7 PM in Matawan, NJ
HALF Share $350(We will find a partner for you)
FULL SHARE $700 (averages out to $29 per week)
Each week receive 6-10 many different varieties of seasonal freshly harvested healthy organic NJ produce
