Matawan Sets Curfew for Halloween Weekend
Mayor Buccellato issued a directive declaring a curfew for Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Matawan Mayor Paul Buccellato issued a directive establishing a curfew for all persons 16 years of age or younger to be off all streets and sidewalks unless accompanied by an adult or traveling to or from a place of employment during the following times:
- Saturday, October 29th from 7:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day
- Sunday, October 30th from 7:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day
- Monday, October 31st from 8:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day
Aberdeen Township also issued a curfew during their regular action meeting on Oct. 18. All persons 17 years of age or younger must be off the streets and sidewalks during the following time periods:
- Sunday, October 30th from 8:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the following day
- Monday, October 31st from 8:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the following day
